A Diet Aide in Senior Living plays a crucial role in enhancing the dining experience. We are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of seniors and promoting healthy food choices. Wage range : $15.00 per hour start, more with experience.

Your contributions are :

Physical and Sensory Requirements :

Requires mobility to stand and walk extensively during meal preparation and service. Lifting, carrying trays and boxes, up to 25lbs. Push / Pull Food Hot Boxes up to 50lbs. Bend, stoop for access to carts, food, trays, and other kitchen equipment. Manual dexterity for the use of kitchen utensils and tools. Visuals for reading menus, labels, and directions. Hearing to respond to verbal communications. Taste and Smell to assess food quality, freshness, and adherence to dietary requirements. Exposure to hot and cold temperatures.

Ensuring that diet aides meet these physical and sensory requirements is crucial to their ability to contribute effectively to the well-being of senior residents in a senior living community.
