We are excited to invite entry-level Engineering Technicians with a passion for the medical device and technology industry to apply for this opportunity. We are looking for recent Bachelor’s graduates with relevant internship experience, or candidates with an Associate's degree and one year of experience in an engineering lab environment. Day to Day Responsibilities :
- Engage in hands-on work, including handling and testing pumps.
- Collect data and pull log files to observe equipment performance.
- Utilize a variety of equipment such as microscopes, strength and contention testing devices, and electrical tools.
Top Skills Needed :
Prior lab experience is essential, including data collection and procedure adherence; training on documentation and lab safety practices will be provided.Experience in writing or developing scripts for electromechanical devices is a plus.Familiarity with handling electrical and mechanical devices is advantageous.Proficiency in Microsoft software and Windows is required; skills in scripting, macro writing, and programming are preferred.Key Responsibilities :
Conduct electrical, mechanical, and environmental testing and evaluation of medical devices.Set up and monitor testing activities in the Reliability Test Lab according to specifications from Product and Reliability Engineering.Follow directions from the Reliability Test Manager, Lab Supervisor, and Test Engineers regarding safe working procedures and equipment use.Accurately document and communicate test results to engineering teams.Participate in teardown destructive testing and product development processes.Verify and validate changes to existing products and conduct competitive product testing.Collaborate with project engineers in product failure analysis and suggest improvements based on testing observations.Set up and document various testing equipment and configurations.Create comprehensive test reports that capture all results.Requirements :
Bachelor's Degree with 0-1 years of experience, or Associate's Degree with 1-2 years of experience in a relevant engineering setting.
