Job description

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Medix to find a qualified CT Tech in Ohio!

About The Position

Medix, a leading staffing agency, is seeking a CT Technologists for an exciting travel contract opportunity in an outpatient Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) clinic environment in Ohio.

As a Travel CT Technologist, you'll be a vital clinician, providing essential diagnostic imaging services to adult patients. This role offers the unique chance to specialize in performing sinus CT scans using advanced, in-house imaging equipment (training will be provided). You will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary clinical team and contribute to the overall efficiency of the clinic's daily operations. This is a temporary assignment to support our client's staffing needs, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role based on performance and clinic needs.

Location : 2 locations, both in Ohio

Facility Type : Outpatient Clinics (ENT Focus)

Start Date : 11 / 24 / 2025 (ASAP)

Length of Assignment : Contract (12 weeks, with potential for Contract-to-Hire)

Schedule : Ability to work a Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM schedule.

State License Needed : OH State Rad Tech Licensure

Pay : Competitive compensation and stipends, with ranges to be discussed directly with your Medix recruiter.

Key Responsibilities

Perform specialized sinus CT scans using dedicated, in-house equipment.

Prepare adult patients for imaging procedures, including clearly explaining steps and ensuring proper positioning for optimal image quality.

Maintain accurate records , logs, and documentation within the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system (Mod Med).

Ensure full compliance through regular audits and quality control measures related to imaging and patient care.

Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary clinical team, including physicians, physician assistants, and medical assistants.

Support general clinical operations by gathering patient history, rooming patients, setting up exam rooms, and maintaining sterilized instruments.

Manage medical supply inventory and coordinate ordering as needed to ensure smooth clinic function.

Actively participate in cross-training to develop a well-rounded understanding of clinic functions and provide support to the Medical Assistant (MA) and Patient Service Representative (PSR) teams when not performing CT scans.

Job Requirements

Requirements (Must-Haves)

Completion of an accredited Radiology or CT Tech program .

Active Registered Technologist (RT) certification from the ARRT .

Active OH State Rad Tech Licensure (Cannot wait for license).

Proficiency in using computers and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves)

Prior clinical experience as a CT Technologist or in a similar radiology role.

Experience in an outpatient or specialty clinic setting.
