Job Description

Join our team as a General Production Worker, where you'll be instrumental in loading and unloading materials into and out of trucks onto conveyor belts and pallets. Your role will also involve mixing materials to manufacture concrete blocks and loading these blocks onto conveyor belts. This position demands physical work, including the ability to lift 50 lbs, and involves general labor in a production environment. A mechanical inclination is a plus.

Work Environment

You will work in a general labor setting for a concrete block manufacturer, primarily outdoors but under a roof. The environment can be dusty due to the materials used. The shift runs from 6 AM to 3 or 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with optional Saturdays. The expectation is to work 45-55 hours per week. This position is ongoing and can last a couple of months or potentially extend to a full 90 business days leading to hire.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westbrook, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50 / hr.
