West London- Acton

Are you looking to take your food warehousing experience to the next level?

If you have warehousing experience from food production / manufacturing and are looking for a progressive and innovative business for your next role, then read on! You’ll use your leadership skills to drive the warehouse team in a safe, busy environment.

  • Hours – 45 hours a week, Tue- Sat, 4pm to 1am
  • Salary – DOE – £35,.00 to £38,.00 + generous benefits package

    A well-established and innovative food manufacturer who are renowned for its quality and tasty product selection. They supply all the UK’s major retailers and restaurant chains.

    The Role

    Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for your team of operatives, ensuring that all ingredients / products are ready to go to production or distribution. You’ll have a range of duties which will include.

  • Ensure your team is fully trained and provide re-training if required.
  • Conduct safety checks on work areas (warehouse, chillers, freezers), forklifts and machinery.
  • Check that materials, packaging & labels are correct according to the planner.
  • Weekly / Monthly stocktaking, conduct investigations into discrepancies.
  • Monitor traceability through Navision (ERP). Arrange stock transfers.

    To be considered for this role you will need.

  • Previous experience supervising a warehouse team in a food environment.
  • An understanding of BRC technical standards
  • A solid understanding of warehousing operations & procedures
  • Ability to lead and motivate your team to achieve daily plans.
