Printing Press Operator

A printing press operator is needed at Interprint Web Printing, located in Clearwater, Florida . We are seeking a detail-oriented sheet-fed printing press operator to join our production team. You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining multi-color sheet-fed 4- or 5-color 28 x 40 printing equipment to produce high-quality printed materials. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical aptitude, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality. The pressman will oversee the printing press during manufacturing runs and manage the press crew to uphold quality standards, making necessary adjustments as needed.

  • Full-time day shift position
  • Overtime is available.

Responsibilities :

  • Set up and operate printing presses according to job specifications.
  • Make-ready.
  • Register color.
  • Monitor print runs for quality, color accuracy, and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on press equipment.
  • Maintain accurate production records and ensure a safe, clean work environment.

    • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience needed as a printing press operator.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • The candidate should possess strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
