Construction Management Representative (CMR)

Location : Vincennes, IN (Full-time on-site at George Rogers Clark National Historic Park)

Project : Rehabilitate Lincoln Memorial Bridge (PMIS # GERO 289951) Duration : Approximately 600 calendar days, with base construction anticipated to complete by June 30, 2027; potential extensions up to six months based on project needs.

Company Overview : ASR International is a leading Construction Management firm specializing in federal projects, including work with the National Park Service (NPS). We are seeking a dedicated CMR to support a high-profile rehabilitation project at a National Historic Landmark, ensuring quality assurance, minimal visitor disruption, and preservation of cultural resources.

Job Summary

As the on-site Construction Management Representative (CMR), you will provide essential oversight and technical support to the NPS Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) during the rehabilitation of the Lincoln Memorial Bridge approach. This role involves observing daily construction activities, ensuring contractor compliance with plans and specifications, and coordinating with park staff to minimize impacts on ongoing operations. You will act as the government's Quality Assurance representative, focusing on documentation, safety, and progress tracking, while the general contractor handles Quality Control. This is a hands-on, field-based position requiring strong technical expertise in historic restoration and construction management.

Key Responsibilities

Communications :

• Communicate concerns or discrepancies observed on-site solely to the Denver Service Center (DSC) and the ASR Project Manager not to park / region staff or the contractor.
• Promptly notify the COR and the ASR Project Manager of any problems or issues; maintain professional, neutral communication.
• Draft project-related correspondence for ASR Peer Review and NPS Review and issuance.
• Participate in conference calls and provide information to resolve disputes with the construction contractor.
• Upload all required documents (e.g., reports, photos) to the NPS ProjectTeam software within one week, excluding sensitive items like government cost estimates or PII.
• Deliver reports, reviews, and evaluations to the NPS Contracting Officer (CO) or their designed Representative within one week unless otherwise specified.
