    Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Long Term Care Opportunity

    Position Details

  • 3x12 hour shift schedule
  • Evening / Nights, weekends and holidays per unit needs
  • Location : 150 Highland Ave, Rochester, NY 14620
  • Local candidates accepted

    • Position Overview

  • RN for 20 residents, 8-10 per LPN and 4-6 per CNA
  • Residents will be geriatric long term care with wound care but no trachs
  • No acute care needs will be in the facility
  • Opportunity to provide care for older adults in a long term care environment

    • Duties and Responsibilities

  • Direct patient care including medication administration
  • Oversight of CNA colleagues
  • Providing care with dignity and respect
  • Work independently while utilizing good critical thinking skills

    • Required Qualifications

  • NYS LPN license
  • BLS (American Heart Association Only)
  • At least 2 years experience in long term care setting

    • Skills Requirements

  • LPN License (NY License ONLY) - Required
  • BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
  • Two (2) Years' Experience - Required, 2 Years duration
