Contract Type : Travel RN contract\n

Unit : Telemetry\n

Start Date : December 1, 2025\n

End Date : March 2, 2026\n

Duration : 13 weeks\n

Shift : Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19 : 00 – 07 : 30)\n

Hours per Week : 36\n

Weekend Coverage : Every other weekend required\n

Floating : Required within telemetry specialty, lower acuity units, and sister location (Chestertown) as needed\n

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1790 - $1920 per week\n

\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience\n

Active Maryland RN license or Compact RN license\n

BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)\n

NIHSS and CPI certifications\n

Epic charting system experience preferred\n

Travel nursing experience required\n

Comfortable with patient ratios of 1 : 5-6\n

Two professional references from recent employers (one supervisor / manager and one charge RN acceptable)\n

Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)\n

Local candidates under 50 miles not eligible\n

\n\nTelemetry RN Responsibilities\n \n

Provide high-quality nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a telemetry unit\n

Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient status\n

Administer medications and manage cardiac drips (no titration)\n

Perform and manage central line, PICC line, and feeding tube care\n

Interpret arterial blood gases and cardiac dysrhythmias\n

Deliver wound care, tracheostomy management, and post-surgical support\n

Float to lower acuity units and sister facility (Chestertown) as needed\n

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and radiology\n

Maintain accurate documentation using Epic (preferred)\n

Participate in 24-hour orientation and ongoing training\n
