Travel Nursing Job Details

Location : Viroqua, Wisconsin 54665

Facility Type : Critical Access Hospital – Operating Room

Assignment Type : Travel RN

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 2, 2026

Contract Length : 12 weeks

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Shift : 12-hour day shifts, staggered start times after 6 : 00 am

Call Requirement : Shared call, 5-6 days / month, every 5th weekend

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,880 - $2,020 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Wisconsin or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience required

BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)

Strong knowledge of circulating nurse duties in the OR; recovery care experience preferred

Excellent communication, teamwork, and clinical skills

Ability to participate in shared call rotation

OR RN Responsibilities

Serve as the Circulating Nurse in the Operating Room for diverse surgical procedures

Assist with post-anesthesia recovery care as needed

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists to ensure safe, efficient operations

Maintain accurate perioperative documentation and uphold infection control protocols

Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in on-call coverage

Promote a positive patient experience and contribute to a collaborative healthcare environment
