Forklift Operator

Location : Harrisburg, NC 28075

Employment Type : Temp to Hire

Pay Rate : $19–$20 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule :

1st Shift : 7 : 00 AM – 3 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday (occasional Saturdays)
2nd Shift : 3 : 00 PM – 11 : 30 PM, Monday through Friday (occasional Saturdays)

We pay Weekly!

Position Overview :

We are currently seeking an experienced Heavy Forklift Operator for a full-time temp-to-hire opportunity. The ideal candidate will have a solid background operating forklifts in construction, steel, or other demanding industrial environments. Safety, precision, and reliability are essential in this role.

Responsibilities :

Safely operate a heavy forklift to transport materials within construction, industrial, or metal-handling settings

Load and unload heavy materials from trucks, storage, and workstations

Handle large, heavy, or irregularly shaped loads with care and efficiency

Ensure proper stacking, securing, and transportation of materials

Perform routine forklift inspections and maintenance checks

Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents

Qualifications :

Must have 4 years of experience operating heavy forklifts in construction, steel, or industrial environments

Skilled in maneuvering large and heavy loads accurately

Experience handling metal materials, steel beams, or oversized equipment preferred

Strong understanding of workplace safety and OSHA standards

Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain one if required

Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and various weather conditions
