Job Summary
Responsible for driving census and quality mix in assigned Centers, meeting budget expectations through strategic marketing, generating quality referrals, and building key relationships with hospitals, physicians, and community partners.

Residents Rights

- Reports complaints made by residents to supervisor
- Reports any allegations of resident neglect, abuse and / or misappropriation of resident property

Generate appropriate referrals through daily account presenceTimely review and acceptance of referrals based on clinical grid and contract admission guideMeet growth and development targets and actively establish and maintain market acceptance ratesMarketing with patient care team is encouraged. Build the team to be used as a selling pointMaintain standards of high-quality customer service and show respect to all customers, both internal and externalEstablish and maintain professional relationships with key physicians, nursing home administrators, DON’s hospital personnel, etc.Continuously conduct market assessments and develop a comprehensive marketing plan designed to meet budgetary projectionsEmploy marketing and promotional initiatives as directedMonitor and report cost-effectiveness of marketing effortsProvide educational in-services to accounts on a regular basis. Become a resource for the customer and the communityEffectively implement a territory management system. Strategically re-assess the territory on an on-going basis and adjust plans and actions accordinglyIdentify opportunities for additional or improved services to address unmet customer needsConvey information regarding referral sources and how they want to be communicated with to the teamAdmissions should always be appropriate for skilled nursing care, and informed consent must be obtainedUtilization of CRM per company expectationsParticipate in evening / weekend call for admissions as required, in a competent and responsive mannerAssure for compliance with local, state, and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and established personnel policies and procedures.Performs any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.Education and Skills
Bachelor’s Degree of Business Administration or nursing, or equivalent experience and knowledge preferredGood communication, negotiation and public relation skillsExperience
Three (3) or more years of professional sales experience, preferably in the health care industryDemonstrate history of positive sales resultsAbility to market and deal tactfully with customers, referral sources and the communityValid driver’s license with maintenance of good driving record and an automobile that is insured in accordance with stateSelf-directed with the ability to work with little supervisionMust be computer literate (MS Office / Excel); compliance with accepted professional standards and practicesPhysical Demands
Frequent movement, walking for extended periods and exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and / or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects including the human bodyWorking Conditions
