CODES ENFORCEMENT OFFICER POSITION CODES ENFORCEMENT OFFICER POSITION PLEASE TAKE NOTICE That the Augusta Town Board is seeking to interview interested applicants to fill a Codes Enforcement Officer position in the Town of Augusta. Applicants must have completed or be willing to complete all 6 basic code enforcement training courses(9A-9F) as required. Prior experience in code enforcement, law enforcement, inspection or a related field is highly desirable. About the Town The Town of Augusta is located in the Southwest corner of Oneida County and covers about 27 square miles. Much of the town, centers around and drains into the Sconondoa Creek, which then in turn, flows northward into the Oneida River drainage basin. The Town contains two hamlets Augusta and Knoxboro and one village, Oriskany Falls.
