Position Overview

The Manufacturing Engineering Technician is vital in supporting production operations through technical expertise, process improvement, and documentation management. This position works closely with operations, quality, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure efficient production, maintain quality standards, and implement lean manufacturing initiatives.

Core Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing operations by providing technical guidance and troubleshooting assembly processes
• Develop, update, and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent product quality
• Manage and maintain tooling equipment, including calibration schedules, preventive maintenance, and inventory tracking
• Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve efficiency
• Perform product builds and support first-article inspections to validate manufacturing processes
• Create and maintain documentation for manufacturing processes, including assembly procedures and quality requirements
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements and resolve production issues
• Train production personnel on new processes, equipment, and safety procedures
• Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
• Support continuous improvement projects through data collection and analysis
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and ability to convey with written and verbal communication
