About The Position

Must-Have :

L&D and Postpartum experience required.

Must have strong skills in fetal monitoring, blood product administration, and high-risk delivery support.

Description :

Start date is 12 / 1 / 2025.

This is a very busy unit with over 400 births in the summer.

Travelers must be able to get up to speed quickly.

Core staff on this unit is less experienced, so the facility will rely on experienced travelers.

This is a Level III Obstetrical Unit.

Orientation will consist of three days in the first week.

The facility has a total of 571 staffed beds across its campuses.

Travelers will be expected to float between Labor and Delivery and Postpartum based on need.

Weekends are typically required every other weekend, but may increase to fill holes in the schedule.

No call is required for this position.

Candidates must have experience in facilities that manage between 200 to 300 deliveries per month.

All travelers must be prepared to float between various like units within their skill set.

Expectations include a patient ratio of 1 : 1 in labor and 1 : 3 in postpartum with support available.

Interdisciplinary support services will be accessible within the unit.

This position demands a willingness to adapt and provide care in a high-paced environment.

All certifications stated are required for this position.
