We offer more than 20 specialties and 100 convenient locations; with some clinics offering extended hours.CHI Health would love to add a Medical Assistant / Certified Medical Assistant (Not Medication Aide) to our Cardiology Team located at the CUMC-Bergan campus off of 77th & Mercy!Hours : Monday-Friday 8a-430p, NO weekends, NO holidays, & NO call!CHI Health strives to care for you the way you care for your patients.

Our full-service network provides a variety of Primary Care & Priority Care Services, including Family, Internal, Geriatric, and Pediatric Medicine, in addition to several specialties to deliver custom care based on the unique needs of our patients.

Responsibilities*$5000 Sign On Bonus Offered *Paid out in FULL after 30 days of employment!In healthcare, we all agree that support is a must in order to be successful.

This position will support our healthcare teams by ensuring they have everything they need in order to care for our patients.

They also play a huge role in a patient’s experience and prep when they visit any of our clinics. We couldn’t do it without you! If you have a passion for supporting others and enhancing patient experience, we want to talk to you.

Expectations : Performs general nursing care to patients by following established clinic workflows.May perform specific nursing care as it relates to specialty of the practice.

Obtain patient consent for care and ensure patient confidentiality.Obtain and document health history, information on chief complaint, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition.

Provide patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and federal / state laws and regulations.Execute prescribed treatments and medical interventions, administer prescribed medications, and monitors and documents treatment progress and patient response.

Refer to / consult with physicians, other health providers, and community resources to prevent / resolve problems or concerns.

Educate patients and families about health status, health maintenance, and management of acute and chronic conditions.Document patient assessment and intervention data using established medical record forms / automated systems and documentation practices.

Participate in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes and outcomes.Track quality assurance data and monitor for acute and chronic care management.

May act as team lead for other nursing staff.Performs other duties within scope of role as assigned.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications : Current Registered Nurse (RN) license that allows you to practice in our stateGraduate of an accredited nursing programBasic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association requiredPay Range$17.
