Job Summary

The Warehouse Driver will be responsible for modeling and promoting Sendik's culture by consistently providing "best in class" service to our guests. The main responsibility of the Warehouse Driver is to operate a medium-sized truck, known as a box truck, to transport goods to Sendik's locations, including loading and unloading cargo, planning delivery routes, ensuring timely deliveries, maintaining vehicle upkeep, and adhering to all safety regulations while providing excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients and dispatchers. Hours : (5a-1p). Off Wednesdays and Sundays.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Serve customers throughout the store locations while modeling Sendik's culture and providing "best in class" customer service, which includes, greeting, engaging, delighting and thanking every guest for their business
• Safely operate a box truck to deliver goods to designated destinations according to established routes and schedules
• Manually load and unload cargo using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment as needed.
• Plan efficient delivery routes to optimize time and mileage
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pick-ups, and any incidents.
• Interact professionally with customers at delivery points, providing excellent customer service
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery updates and any issues encountered
• Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
