LaSalle Network is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our client's team in Naperville, IL. The Demand Planner will play a key role in forecasting demand, optimizing inventory levels and ensuring seamless alignment between supply and demand. This position requires close collaboration with sales, marketing and supply chain teams to drive data-driven decision-making and meet customer expectations efficiently.

Demand Planner Responsibilities :

• Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales, market trends and promotional plans
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to gather input on upcoming product launches, campaigns and events impacting demand
• Adjust forecasts regularly to account for changing business conditions or unforeseen factors
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure sufficient stock availability while minimizing excess inventory and carrying costs
• Identify and address demand-supply imbalances, working with supply chain and production teams to resolve issues
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, production and finance, to align forecasts with operational plans and budgets
• Act as a point of contact for resolving issues related to stockouts, overages or delivery delays
• Analyze and report on forecast accuracy, sales trends and inventory performance
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings in demand planning and inventory management
• Utilize demand planning software and tools to improve efficiency and accuracy
