We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Accounting Consultant to join our team on a contract basis. This position, based in Boston, Massachusetts, offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in financial management and technical accounting within the services industry. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in public company reporting and a deep understanding of complex accounting principles.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee financial planning and project management activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational goals.
- Manage month-end close processes, including account reconciliation and financial statement preparation.
- Provide guidance and support on technical accounting issues related to IPOs, S-1 filings, and SEC reporting.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to support strategic decision-making and enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Conduct detailed reviews of accounting processes and recommend improvements to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of financial documents required for public company reporting.
- Offer expertise in navigating cryptocurrency accounting and related financial challenges.
- Develop and implement best practices for financial systems and processes.
- Ensure all accounting practices align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience in technical accounting and financial project management within a detail-focused services setting.
- Strong knowledge of public company reporting requirements, including IPOs and S-1 filings.
- Familiarity with SEC regulations and compliance standards.
- Expertise in cryptocurrency accounting and related financial practices.
- Exceptional analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with diverse teams.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with a commitment to accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
