Job specification

• Provide safe, direct patient care following physician orders and nursing protocols
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and perform clinical assessments
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other team members to implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment, discharge instructions, and wellness strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Participate in unit-based safety and quality improvement initiatives
• Support new nurses and contribute to a positive team atmosphere

Candidate requirements

• Active RN license in Alabama.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• At least 1 year of nursing experience preferred (new grads encouraged to apply)
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred or willingness to obtain)
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time-management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team and remain calm under pressure
