Travel Nursing Job Details Location : Grand Blanc, MI 48439 (Michigan healthcare jobs) Setting : Acute Inpatient Case Management Contract Length : 13 weeks Schedule : 4x10 hour shifts per week (7 : 30am - 6 : 00pm), weekend rotation required Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Employment Type : Travel RN contract Start Date : November 24, 2025 Hourly Pay Rate : $46-$59 / hr Estimated Weekly Salary : $2000-$2050 Registered Nurse Qualifications Minimum 5 years of acute inpatient case management experience, including acute discharge planning Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan BLS certification through AHA Experience with CarePort system preferred Ability to quickly acclimate and work directly with patients on the floor Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills Analytical, data management, and PC skills Organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple tasks independently Preferred : Experience charting in AllScripts, GEMS / Sunrise; 3 years RN clinical experience; knowledge of discharge planning, utilization management, performance improvement, and managed care reimbursement Case Management RN Responsibilities Support physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate patient care Enhance clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction while managing cost of care Integrate and coordinate utilization management, patient education, care facilitation, and discharge planning Manage a designated patient caseload, planning effectively to meet patient needs and promote efficient resource utilization Facilitate precertification and payor authorization processes Collaborate to remove barriers to timely and efficient care delivery and reimbursement Apply process improvement methodologies to evaluate care outcomes Support clinical documentation efforts and serve as a resource for coders Coordinate communication with physicians and other care team members Demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate to the patient population served Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Case Management RN in Grand Blanc, Michigan, and take the next step in your travel nursing career!
