Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains and prepares timely and accurate financial reports.
• Monitors and balances funds, budgets, and accounts.
• Analyzes financial data and resolves potential discrepancies.
• Assists department with accounting procedures and compliance issues.
• Reviews contracts for compliance.
• Approves check requests and requisitions.
• Accumulates requested documents and information for outside auditors.
• Performs all other related duties involved in the operation of the department as assigned or required.

Minimum Requirements

NOTE: You must fill out the work history and education sections of application to show you have years of experience/education as required by hiring department or be disqualified.

• TO APPLY, must have a bachelor's degree or higher, accounting degree preferred.

• TO APPLY, must have at least Two (2) full-time years of accounting or auditing experience required .

• Ability to collect and analyze financial data and draw logical conclusions.

• Ability to recognize risks and communicate those risks to management for action.

• Ability to make decisions based on relevant criteria.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient use of spreadsheets and word processing.
