Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of acute care experience, valid ARRT credentials, and flexibility for night shifts with CT / X-Ray rotation.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Position is in an acute care radiology department with rotation between CT and X-Ray
  • Handles a patient volume of approximately 110-130 CT patients per day
  • Works with Siemens Edge 128 and Siemens Definition 128 CT scanners, as well as Carestream x-ray equipment and portables
  • Shifts are 10-hour nights with varied start times between 1800 and 2000, including every other weekend and on-call requirements
  • Requires floating between CT and X-Ray as needed
  • Uses Cerner EMR, with experience preferred
  • Candidates must not have been directly employed (full time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility affiliated with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity Health within the past year, except PRN work through outside agencies
  • Teal scrubs are required
  • Orientation is 12 hours
  • Returning staff must follow a one-year waiting period if previously directly employed
  • Assignment length is 13 weeks
  • Call may require 12-hour standby periods in the evening or night on weekends not scheduled to work, to be discussed during interview

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a CT Technologist in an acute care setting
  • Current BLS, ARRT (R), ARRT (CT), and Fluoroscopy certifications required
  • Active state radiologic technologist license required if applicable
  • Comfort and competency with both CT and X-ray modalities
  • Ability to work flexible night shift schedules, every other weekend, and take call as needed
  • Driver's license required for consideration
  • At least one supervisor reference from the past 12 months and another peer or supervisor reference from the past 3 years are required
