License : ARRT and Texas Medical Board

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

C-arm and OR skills with X-ray skills.

Must be able to scrub a case in interventional radiology.

Description :

Responsible for data collection and technical tasks in interventional radiology.

The unit performs imaging for operating room, emergency room, inpatient, and outpatient exams.

The typical staff includes 3 individuals, working day shifts with alternating weeks of 30 and 40 hours.

Night shift staff will be on call for the days they work.

The unit uses GE C-arms, GE R / F, GE portables, and an IR room.

The electronic medical record system in use is Meditech Expanse.

Procedures performed on the unit include operating room cases, all X-rays with porta cath tunnel dialysis catheter, and GI bleeds.

A strong fit for the team will prioritize effective communication and reliability.

Weekend and on-call requirements apply for the days worked.
