Job description

Family Medicine Residency Program Coordinator

The Residency Program Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and supporting all administrative aspects of the residency program. This role works closely with the Program Director, core faculty, and institutional leadership to ensure the program runs efficiently and remains compliant with all ACGME and institutional requirements. Responsibilities include organizing recruitment and onboarding activities, maintaining program records, managing resident schedules and evaluations, preparing for accreditation reviews, and serving as the primary contact for residents and faculty. The coordinator ensures smooth day-to-day operations, fosters effective communication among all stakeholders, and contributes to a positive educational environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the residency program to ensure compliance with ACGME and institutional requirements.
  • Maintain resident and faculty records, including evaluations, schedules, milestones, and duty hour tracking.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of accreditation and reporting documents, annual updates, and site visit materials.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities, including ERAS application review, interview scheduling, candidate communication, Match processes, and resident onboarding.
  • Serve as the primary administrative contact for residents, faculty, and partner institutions, facilitating communication and resolving routine program issues.
  • Support educational and program events such as orientation, didactics, meetings, and faculty development activities.
  • Track and manage program-related expenses, reimbursements, and budget activities.
  • Ensure timely distribution of program information, policies, and updates to residents and faculty.
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and confidential environment to support a positive learning experience for residents.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education :

Associate's degree required

Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience :

1-3 years of experience preferred

Starting Range : $24.51-$26.96
