Staxmatic is seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to support the successful execution of commercial Mechanical and Plumbing commercial construction projects. This position assists in managing the full project lifecycle, from pre-construction planning to project close-out, ensuring work is delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with company quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with strong organizational skills and a desire to grow into a lead project management role.
- Pay : Up to $85,000 based on experience

Duties and Responsibilities
Assist Project Manager in coordinating all phases of project executionHelp monitor daily and weekly job progress, schedules, and subcontractor performanceTrack project documentation including RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, and closeout materialsSupport material procurement, delivery tracking, and equipment coordinationAttend project meetings, record notes, and follow up on action itemsCommunicate with field teams, vendors, clients, and internal departmentsHelp prepare cost reports, progress updates, and documentation for billingMaintain project files and ensure data accuracy across systemsQualifications and Skills
3+ years of experience in construction project coordination or assistant project management (mechanical or plumbing preferred)Strong knowledge of construction processes, documentation, and terminologyProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); experience with project management software like Procore, Bluebeam, or MS Project is a plusHighly organized with strong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsCapable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred—or equivalent work experienceFor 45 years, the Staxmatic team has delivered excellence through a strong team culture.
