How you make a difference

The Psychiatrist provides a comprehensive range of psychiatric services to incarcerated patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health disorders. Additionally, the Psychiatrist provides clinical consultation to mental health and health care staff on identified cases, ensuring high-quality mental health care for inmates. Overall, the position requires a strong commitment to providing compassionate care, sound clinical judgment, and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.

6 hours total per week. 2 days per week at 3 hours per day. On-Call required. Generally to assist in verifying medications. $180 to $200 / hour depending on years of relevant experience.
