Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Technical Support Engineer for our Data Center Construction projects. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional with a strong background in the construction industry, particularly in the data center infrastructure domain. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience and a strong understanding of AutoCAD, construction plans, containment solutions, technical troubleshooting, quantity take offs, and mechanical engineering. This position offers an opportunity to be a part of a fast-paced, innovative team that is shaping the future of data centers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support and guidance in the construction of data center infrastructure.
  • Develop and interpret detailed construction plans using AutoCAD.
  • Implement containment solutions to ensure the optimal performance of data centers.
  • Handle technical troubleshooting, identify issues, and propose effective solutions.
  • Perform quantity take offs and manage resources efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the mechanical engineering team to ensure the compatibility of systems.
  • Participate in project planning and execution, ensuring adherence to time and budget constraints.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data center construction.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on data center construction.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and other construction planning tools.
  • Extensive knowledge of data center infrastructure and containment solutions.
  • Proven experience in technical troubleshooting and problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with quantity take offs and resource management.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety regulations.
