Location Requirement :
Please note that this position is based in Houston, Texas . Applicants must either currently reside in Houston or be willing to relocate within the USA .
Role Overview :
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales and business development initiatives, with responsibilities including :
Sales Targeting & Lead Generation
- Identify and qualify sales prospects within the Houston area and surrounding regions.
- Utilize our existing database, customer interactions, and personal industry experience- particularly in air freight and FCL / LCL sea freight or freight forwarding -to generate leads.
Regional & Global Opportunities
Collaborate with the Head of Business Development to evaluate and act on opportunities from regional and international clients.Develop tailored action plans for each opportunity in coordination with leadership.Product Development
Partner with the Management Team to design marketable and sustainable logistics solutions.Contribute to the refinement and enhancement of current service offerings.Pricing & Quotations
Work alongside the Commercial Team to create agile and competitive pricing strategies.CRM & Data Management
Ensure the CRM system is actively used and accurately maintained to support sales activities and customer engagement.Reporting & Pipeline Management
Submit detailed sales call reports via CRM.Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline.Team Collaboration
Coordinate closely with local pricing, sales, and operations teams to identify and manage business opportunities.Engage with management to continuously improve business development efforts.Foster a positive team culture and contribute to strong internal relationships.Ideal Candidate Profile :
