Location : Boise, ID
Employment Type : Full-Time
Schedule : Primarily 4x10s (Manager open to 5x8s) | Rotating Shifts | Weekend Availability Required
Compensation : $26–$30 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our patient screening and assessment team in Boise, ID . This full-time position focuses on conducting clinical assessments to determine donor eligibility in a supportive, fast-paced, and low-stress environment.
You will work with a collaborative team of 5–8 healthcare professionals , performing straightforward assessments and documentation without the high-pressure responsibilities seen in acute-care settings. No venipuncture or complex medication administration is required.
Center Hours of Operation
LPNs work approximately 30 minutes prior to opening and 1–1.5 hours after closing .
Sunday : 6 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM
Monday : 6 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM
Tuesday : 6 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 PM
Wednesday : 6 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 PM
Thursday : 6 : 00 AM – 8 : 00 PM
Friday : 6 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM
Saturday : 6 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM
Candidates must be able to work full-time, rotate shifts, and work weekends as required.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient assessments including height, weight, and vital signs
Perform fingerstick testing for hematocrit and protein levels
Determine donor eligibility following established guidelines
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Support a positive donor experience through professional, friendly interaction
Work collaboratively with fellow LPNs and clinical staff
Participate in cross-training within the center to broaden skillset
No venipuncture or complex medication dosage calculations required
Qualifications
Active LPN license (required)
High attention to detail and strong adherence to protocols
Ability to perform in a fast-paced setting with consistent donor flow
Friendly, professional communication skills
Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities
