    • Environmental Engineer
    • to lead air permitting activities across the Deer Park site, ensuring all permits are obtained, reviewed, and renewed as required. You will proactively monitor site performance, maintain compliance with regulatory standards, and drive initiatives that align operations with environmental requirements.

    • To succeed as an Environmental Engineer, you must have :
    • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related scientific field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of environmental experience, preferably within petrochemical or refining facilities.
    • Solid knowledge of operating permits (CAA, NPDES, PSD, NSR, Title V) and direct experience working with state and federal regulatory agencies.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and environmental enterprise systems such as Cority, Enviance, or Enablon.
    • Solid communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with legal authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to travel as required.
    • As an Environmental Engineer, you will :
    • Prepare, review, and maintain environmental permits, emissions reports, and regulatory documentation while ensuring timely submissions.
    • Perform emissions calculations, evaluate operational or equipment changes, and recommend air pollution control technologies.
    • Coordinate with contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams to support permitting efforts and compliance activities.
    • Monitor site performance against environmental standards, manage assigned programs, and provide training or coaching to personnel.
    • Support audits, capital projects, incident response, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain regulatory alignment and site compliance.

It is part of the Pemex group, a fully integrated oil company in the Americas, working across the entire value chain : exploration, production, industrial processing / refining, logistics, and marketing. The refinery’s rated capacity is 340,000 barrels per day and has the feed flexibility to process multiple grades of crude oil, producing high-quality transportation fuels the world needs.
