Located in Richmond, California, our 14-acre facility is fully stocked with extensive inventory, which allows for prompt delivery, product versatility, and customer satisfaction. We have the largest lumber delivery fleet in the Bay Area; our steadfast delivery services bring the materials you need to your front door.

Essential Duties

• Build and maintain strong relationships with external customers and develop a strong partnership with the Channel Lumber internal and outside sales organization.
• Receive inbound sales inquiries, via phone, email, and other outlets, answer questions regarding products, quote customers, and process sales orders.
• Partner with the inside sales organization for purchase orders, as well as some vendor contact when needed.
• Import sales orders and customer quotes for the outside sales organization as needed.
• Act as liaison between sales organization and lumber / supply yard, ensuring accuracy and timely processing of sales orders and customer inquiries.
• Consultative sales approach with customers, answering questions and offering advice and direction based on product knowledge.
• Assist in sourcing “difficult to find” products for the customer with internal purchasing team and the outside sales team when needed.
• Maintain and develop personal customer base, while pursuing new opportunities and prospective accounts for the business via business development activities.

Pay range $25-$30 an hour, with sales commission incentives and benefits
