Systems Security Engineer

The Opportunity :

As a systems engineer supporting an agenc y's security office, you will use your expertise to develop, update, and or review Risk Management Framework ( RMF ) documentation to include Security Plans, Implementation Plans, Plans of Action and Milestones ( POA & Ms ) , and Risk Assessment Reports. You will ensure system compliance against National Institute Standards and Technology ( NIST ) , Department of Defense ( DOD ) , and Security Technical Implementation Guides ( STIGs ) and Security Requirements Guides ( SRG ) and produce evidence of compliance, where necessary. As a systems engineer you will analyze vulnerability scans and provide recommendations for remediations. You will ensure all system connections, such as File Transfer Protocol and Virtual Private Network tunnels meet agency and NIST requirements. In this role, you will also c ond uct audits on computer systems to detect, prevent, and record computer use and abnormalities.

Clearance :

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $62,000.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
