Premier Medical Staffing Services is seeking a travel nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a travel nursing job in Topeka, Kansas.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty : OR - Operating Room
• Discipline : RN
• Duration : 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift : 12 hours, days
• Employment Type : Travel
• Must have strong Neurosurgery experience
• No first-time travelers
• 13-26 week contract
• Schedule : Sat Sun Mon (Sat / Sun 0700 to 1930 mon 0630 to 1900)
• Kansas RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• On call schedule : could be up to : (2) 7-11s per month... (2) 7p-7as per month
• Holiday call is 1 working 1 call a year - usually 8 hours each
• Facility sees a lot of craniotomies and broken backs so the traveler must be confident handling emergency neurosurgery independently
• RNs will be involved in a wide range of surgical cases, from routine to urgent and trauma procedures
• Responsibilities will include both pre-operative and post-operative care
• EMR : Epic
