ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

  • Utilize geospatial analysis and business intelligence tools to identify market opportunities within Metronet’s network locations.
  • Analyze demographic, economic, and competitive factors to determine areas with high potential for new service offerings to SMB (Small and Medium-sized Business) customers.
  • Develop data-driven models and metrics to assess ROI (Return on Investment) for capital investments in new service infrastructure.
  • Identify specific areas where additional capital investment is justified based on market potential, customer density, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate with the data analytics team to enhance data processes and management techniques specific to market planning and capital investment strategies.
  • Develop tools and workflows to streamline data analysis and reporting for strategic decision-making.
  • Leverage geospatial data to map customer distribution, network coverage, and competitive presence in target areas.
  • Provide insights into market penetration strategies and service expansion opportunities.
  • Create and maintain performance metrics and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) related to market planning and investment strategies.
  • Develop visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Utilize Python for data processing and analysis tasks.
  • Experience with GIS tools such as ArcGIS for geospatial data analysis and visualization.
  • Familiarity with SQL for database querying and manipulation, and proficiency in other programming languages as needed.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • 5 years of experience using Python and GIS tools for data engineering and analysis.
  • Strong background in data science, including modeling and analytics.
  • Knowledge of geospatial data management and its applications in business planning.
  • Experience in strategic planning, particularly in assessing market opportunities and ROI for capital investments.
  • Familiarity with cloud architectures and DevOps practices.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies for iterative project management.
