This part-time, approximately 5 hours per week position requires a compassionate, personable, motivated, and organized individual capable of assisting in a variety of prevention programs to support families in Chaffee County. Desirable skills include experience in providing support to parents and families with challenges they are addressing, co-teaching classes to these parents and / or children and teens utilizing an evidence-based curriculum, supervising and engaging with children ages 1-18 years of age, to create a friendly and safe environment and to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Training provided as needed. This position is nonexempt, hourly with a range of $25 - $31, DOQ. This position is eligible to accrue 1 hour of sick time for each 30 hours of work, up to a maximum of 48 hours.
