About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have :

• Must be available the first 8 days of assignment.
• Only one holiday request allowed and only one day or one evening / day after, not both.
• Must be willing to work with a variety of staff including RNs, LPNs, and Techs.
• Preference for candidates with 2 years of Med / Surg experience.

Description :

This position will float to other Med Surg units.

The candidate will work every other weekend.

Staffing ratio will be 1 : 4-5 for days, with a possibility of flexing to 7 patients while paired with an LPN for support.

The unit provides a mix of medical patients and includes specialties such as ortho / neurovascular, cardio / pulmonary, and surgical patients.

The role involves working with a variety of staff across the unit and other Med / Surg units.

Floating will generally occur once per week based on unit needs.

Candidates should possess strong collaborative skills.

The role may require support of diverse patient cases during shifts.
