Qualifications :

• Must be a minimum of twenty-one years of age.
• Able to read, write and speak the English language.
• Pass interview process, background check, and physical examination.
• Able to attend, without absence or lateness, up to two months of training.

This position is deemed safety sensitive per the Department of Transportation (DOT) Drug and Alcohol Testing Regulations. The DOT Drug and Alcohol Testing Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of marijuana for any reason. It is unacceptable for any safety-sensitive employee subject to drug testing under DOT regulations to use recreational or medical marijuana. The prohibition includes any derivative of marijuana such as CBD oils, teas, etc. The use of recreational and medical marijuana is a violation of NJ TRANSITs Drug and Alcohol-Free Workplace Policy for safety-sensitive employees.
