CAD Drafter
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CAD Drafter to join their Chicago team! This role involves producing high-quality construction and engineering drawings to support their field and design teams. The ideal candidate will have 35 years of experience mechanical drafting and be proficient in AutoCAD. Familiarity with Revit is a big plus.
Responsibilities :
- Create and modify detailed technical drawings and plans using AutoCAD
- Prepare construction documents, site layouts, and detailed sections for civil and structural projects
- Coordinate closely with engineers and project managers to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specs
- Assist with generating scaled drawings, background files, and design details
- Maintain organized drawing sets and documentation per company standards
- Review and revise plans based on feedback or field updates
