The Associate Producer supports scheduling and the day-to-day production of the internal development team. Working closely with the Lead Producer, this role helps build and maintain project plans to support resource, budget, and schedule needs.
Responsibilities
- Game Development : Own phases or portions of product development from design through final approval; apply production knowledge to support creative partners, support new technologies, and track progress; keep project on schedule and within budget; maintain and update team tasking; communicate effectively with internal team members, consultants, and external partners.
- Critical Thinking + Problem Solving : Break down large or complex tasks into clear, actionable steps; assess the impact of creative changes on schedule and resources; identify all key stakeholders, gather input, and follow-through on decisions; partner with Lead Producer to plan resources and resolve issues.
- Team + Process Support : Build strong cross-functional relationships, foster collaboration; provide feedback on team members to managers; escalate any personnel issues as needed; ensure compliance with SIE production processes and company policies.
- Skills : Strong project management and schedule skills; proficient at milestone tracking; excellent organizational and prioritization skills with strong attention to detail and process; experience with JIRA, Confluence, Hansoft, Microsoft Office (Project and Excel), Bug tracking databases (JIRA, DevTrack), Perforce; familiarity with Agile / SCRUM and traditional production methodologies; clear and adaptable communication skills; self-starter who can adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment; up-to-date knowledge of game industry trends and passion for game development.
- Education & Experience : 3+ years of game production experience with at least one shipped title as Associate Producer or higher; experience working in AAA games; bachelor’s degree or equivalent skills and experience.

At SIE, base pay ranges are influenced by market benchmarking and geographic location. The base pay range may vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role is eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision. The estimated base pay range is $47.26—$70.91 USD per hour.
