About The Position

Job Title : CT / X-Ray Technologist

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour or Day 5x8-Hour

Hours per Shift : 10 hours or 8 hours

Experience : Minimum 2 years

License : State licensed

Certifications : ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS

Must-Have :

• Previous charge experience preferred
• Experience in acute care preferred
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system preferred

Description :

The CT / X-Ray Technologist works a rotating schedule of 4 ten-hour days or 5 eight-hour days.

The earliest shift starts at 07 : 00, while the latest shift begins at 08 : 30.

The daily caseload per technologist averages 28 cases.

Weekend coverage requirements vary based on staffing needs.

Call is rotated and typically covers from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00.

Weekend call is also required on a rotational basis, depending on staffing demands.

On-call technologists must remain available during working shift hours in case of high volume or multiple traumas.

The staff technologist on site will determine if the on-call technologist needs to be contacted during normal shift hours.

Specialty equipment includes Siemens go.Top 128 slice CT Scanner and Philips fixed X-Ray Room.

Additional equipment includes GE / Konica Fluoro X-Ray Room, GE OEC C-arm, and GE Optima Mobile X-Ray.

The daily census includes various patient age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
