Summary of Functions

As a Questmas Village Attendant at Northern Quest Resort & Casino, you welcome arriving guests in a friendly manner. You will also assist in maintaining overall guest flow of the check in process including tendering admissions, signature of waiver and monitoring of ice rink as well as maintaining all ice rink rental equipment and guest areas. The most important characteristic of our team is that we love inspiring lasting memories for our guests. In this position you exhibit excellence in your commitment to our guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians, Washington State Regulations, and Northern Quest Resort & Casino and Procedures.
  • Warmly and graciously greet all guests upon arrival.
  • Communicate with managers about guests, unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions.
  • Always display excellent customer service.
  • Sincerely thank guests as they leave and inviting them to return.
  • Must come to work dressed for extreme weather conditions and in approved uniform.
  • Collect signed waivers from guests and distribute wrist bands.
  • Responsible for alerting managers to any unsafe or potentially hazardous ice conditions.
  • Execute policies and procedures professionally and accurately.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members and guests.
  • Assist in steady flow of foot traffic for Questmas Village tour.
  • Other duties as assigned. Responsibilities and activities may change at any time with or without notice.

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Experience

  • Prefer one to three months related experience and / or training helpful; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills

  • Skill in identifying and resolving problems under pressure conditions.
  • Other Requirements

  • At least 18 years or older.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Tribal Work Permit.
  • Work nights, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Physical Demands

  • Requires the ability to lift and / or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Constantly requires the ability to give and receive detailed information through verbal communication.

  • Constantly requires verbally expressing or exchanging ideas of important instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.

  • Occasionally requires ascending or descending stairs or ramps using feet and legs and / or hands and arms.
  • Occasionally requires raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally.
  • Occasionally requires stooping which entails the use of the lower extremities and back muscles. Infrequently requires crouching.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Work Environment

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to tobacco smoke, moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The worker is frequently subject to outside environmental conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
