Software Engineer II
Responsible for planning and designing new software and web applications. Edits new and existing applications. Implements, testing and debugging defined software components. Documents all development activity. Works with moderate guidance in own area of knowledge.

About the Role :
We're looking for a Software Engineer II to join our team, supporting applications that provide account and device health services for many frontend applications. In this role, you'll ensure the availability, performance, and scalability of large-scale distributed systems while driving automation, reliability, and operational excellence. You'll collaborate with engineering and business teams, to deliver robust technical solutions which help to ensure the best experience for our Xfinity customers.
What You'll Do :
- Design, analyze, and troubleshoot large-scale distributed systems.
- Debug and optimize code; automate routine tasks to improve efficiency.
- Support secure configurations, vulnerability remediation, and incident response.
- Collaborate on software release cycles, including planning, testing, and monitoring.
- Develop automation tools and scripts to streamline processes.
- Partner across development teams to identify, implement and test enhancements.
- Follow and promote adherence to operational procedures and best practices.
Skills & Experience We're Looking For :
2+ years of software development experience (or master's degree)Coding and debugging skills in Java, Spring Boot, Python, and React / Angular.Experience developing and debugging server-side applications or web services.Familiarity with cloud environments, secrets management and privacy expectations.Knowledge of SDLC tools (Git, Jenkins, Concourse) and basic Linux administration with shell scripting.Understanding of database structures and SQL.Experience with AI tools and agents to support development and the full SDLC.Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.Additional "Nice to Have" Skills :
