Position Overview Type of Position : Travel Description : High Risk Antepartum / Postpartum Nursing Position Position Overview 3x12 hour rotating shift schedules (Days / Evenings / Nights) Every other weekend schedule Holiday, on-call, callback, and charge duties per unit needs Job Duties Provide direct care to high-risk antepartum and postpartum women with medically or obstetrically complicated pregnancies Care focused on high-risk mothers, postpartum, pre-labor, and gynecological patients (no baby care) Collaborate with physicians, nurse midwives and social workers to provide the highest quality care to the high risk patient population Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve Orient and train to various competencies / modes of care across the OB service Float among units to meet variable needs of volume and acuity as an ongoing expectation of all OB / GYN nurses Job Requirements RN License (NY ONLY) Two (2) years RN experience required OB experience helpful but not necessary Required Certifications BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Neonatal Resuscitation Required Telemetry Experience Required Alerion Healthcare Job ID 1792.
