Project Controls Manager

Mortenson is seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead project financials with professionalism, flexibility, and resourcefulness in a dynamic environment. This role involves managing project quality, timeliness, and safety, mentoring the project team, and developing strong customer relationships through excellent service and communication skills.

Responsibilities :

• Prepare proposals, assist in pursuit presentations, and contract negotiations
• Manage design engineering projects from concept to completion
• Maintain schedule and budget through design completion
• Develop and maintain project financial budget and projections
• Report on progress, cost, schedule metrics, and any issues requiring support
• Track actual cost vs planned expenditures
• Identify potential risk and develop mitigation strategies
• Determine and allocate project estimate into financial system
• Manage subcontracts and suppliers, oversee budget and selections
• Function as main point of contact with clients and on-site representatives
• Provide frequent interactions to build positive relationships and future opportunities

The base pay range for this role is $128,300 - $192,500. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations : Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. This position is eligible for Mortenson's incentive plan.
