Job Title : Psychiatrist (Board-Certified)

Location On-site : Remote (with possible travel to Joint Base Andrews, Washington, D.C.)

Employment Type : Full Time or Part-Time

Targeted Start Date : Immediately

What you will be doing :

We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist to support disability evaluations and adjudication processes for military service members. This is a full-time remote position with potential travel to Joint Base Andrews in Washington, D.C. The role involves clinical analysis, documentation review, and collaboration with medical and board staff, no direct patient care is involved.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide expert psychiatric input for disability evaluations in accordance with VASRD, DoD, and Service-specific regulations
  • Review and prepare Draft Records of Proceeding (ROP) at scale each month
  • Frame mental health history, diagnoses, and functional impact in clinical evaluation summaries
  • Input and update case data accurately in CMTARS within three (3) business days of assignment
  • Collaborate with Board Officers and medical staff during adjudication processes
  • Ensure timely, evidence-based medical input throughout case review
  • Maintain documentation quality with 95% accuracy (free from grammatical or formatting errors)
  • Prepare and amend Draft ROPs to include comprehensive analysis of medical and / or mental health conditions
  • Participate in ongoing regulatory compliance and continuing education requirements
  • Meet quota requirements
  • Reliable high speed internet connectivity

You Must Have :

  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a security background check.
  • Board-Certified in Psychiatry
  • Active medical license in good standing
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Computer savvy; comfortable navigating case management systems and digital documentation
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
