Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities :

  • Complete all required safety training and conduct all work in accordance with Micron and Technology Development (TD) safety policies.
  • Collaborate with key collaborators to improve applications that continuously improve production metrics.
  • Design and coordinate projects across multiple departments to support inventory control and cycle-time improvement processes.
  • Apply industrial engineering concepts to line management, capacity analysis, scheduling, and production planning.
  • Develop and refine data sources, metrics, and reports to support the Part Operations Engineers, Area Manufacturing Engineers, and ODE in general.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Production Operations Management (POM), or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects with strong analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in building and maintaining effective relationships.
  • Effective collaboration with team members from diverse fields.
  • Two or more years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, with a focus on capacity planning, automation, scheduling, cycle time, and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Intermediate proficiency in critical software such as SQL, Python, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Hands-on experience in data analytics, preferably with database querying experience.
  • Advanced understanding of manufacturing science, including scheduling, inventory management, and capacity planning.
  • Proven ability to improve production metrics and line performance.
