We are looking for an experienced Corporate Controller to join our team in Solon, Ohio. In this role, you will act as a trusted financial advisor, driving strategic initiatives while managing financial reporting and accounting processes. This position offers an opportunity to lead critical financial operations, ensuring compliance and accuracy to support organizational growth.
Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic financial guidance to executive leadership, supporting the achievement of corporate objectives.
- Oversee the monthly accounting close and reporting processes, ensuring data accuracy and timely delivery.
- Prepare and manage the Quarterly Report in accordance with credit agreement requirements.
- Analyze financial results and operational performance to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and maintain adherence to established accounting policies.
- Enhance the quality and transparency of financial data while maintaining robust internal accounting controls.
- Administer and optimize the use of OneStream Financial Management and oversee system interfaces with SAP.
- Manage intricate accounting tasks, including revenue recognition, inventory valuation, goodwill, intangible assets, and tax accounting in collaboration with the Tax Director.
- Coordinate and lead external audits, acting as a primary point of contact with auditors and external partners.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial management or accounting roles.
- Strong expertise in US GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Proficient in consolidations and complex accounting processes.
- Advanced knowledge of SAP and financial management systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage external audits and liaise effectively with auditors.
- Experience with advanced accounting areas such as inventory valuation, tax accounting, and goodwill.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
