Disco Liquids is hiring a Part Time Warehouse and Delivery Worker!
Schedule : 15-20 hours / week, primarily on Tuesday and Thursday to start
Compensation : $25 / hr (paid weekly) + one bottle of wine per shift

Join our occasionally-Sisyphean and usually-fun efforts to expand the world of natural wine in Louisiana. We love wine, we love other fermented drinks made from organically farmed ingredients, and we love hospitality. The majority of this job entails loading and unloading cases or kegs of alcoholic beverages, driving a bright red van to the other cities in the state, and talking about the products you’re selling, but please check out more of the details below!
Responsibilities and Duties :
This is a physically demanding job that requires you to lift and move ~35-lb cases many times per shift, 60+ / -lb kegs on occasion, and lift / push other heavy items as needed, including larger kegs of beer, which weigh between 80 and 130 lbs. You will be splitting your time between manual labor and driving. It’s a bit of a workout, but for the right person, it's a fun puzzle, right?
Receiving deliveries at the warehouse (7-9 hours every Tuesday), including :
- Removing pallets from truck and moving them into the warehouse using a walkie-stacker and pallet jack
- Counting cases & bottles received against POs
- Putting away and organizing cases in the cellar (First In, First Out)
- Updating inventory in inventory software
- Alerting team to all issues / discrepancies between stock and digital count of inventory and when inventory has been put away.
Warehouse Organization (1-2 hours per week) :
Collaborating with the team to build and develop organizational methods to make products easier to find and systems more efficient (Creating bin locations for all wines within our inventory software)Consolidating and organizing when possibleMaintaining an accurate inventoryRepresenting the business and our wines with prideThursday Outer Market Deliveries (6-9 hours every Thursday) :
Baton Rouge + Lafayette 2-3 times per month and Shreveport and / or Monroe once a monthOccasionally delivering in New Orleans and the North ShoreSubject to change based on expansion and input (we’re hopeful and collaborative!)Expectations :Ensure accuracy of invoice and order prior to leavingDeliver to customers in a hospitable mannerPotential to grow hours, days, and responsibilities based on increased salesMeetings and Events

Must have a valid Louisiana driver’s license and a clean driving record. Gotta get from A to B safely and smoothly!Must be detail-oriented and organized– you’ll be the master of packing and order management.Must be somewhat flexible and reliable– sometimes you start early, sometimes you finish late, we're a young business that's still in the process of streamlining our systems.
