The Primary Purpose of this role is to perform specialized law enforcement work in the processing and serving of civil documents for the Sheriff's Office, which may include child support (IV-D) papers and civil / criminal processes issued by the court.

Appears in court as witness to give testimony. Prepares reports of activities. Serves in other capacities of the Sheriff's Office on an as-needed basis, to include patrol, investigations, narcotics, and administrative divisions. Performs related work as required.
Physical Requirements
Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment including computers, typewriters, copiers, etc. Must be physically able to operate a motor vehicle. Must be able to exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and / or up to 5 pounds of force frequently, and / or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
